Written and Practical Testing

NREMT psychomotor examinations are standardized examinations administered in a variety of locations across the Commonwealth of PA. NREMT psychomotor exams are conducted by the Regional or State EMS Office.

Candidates for initial psychomotor testing (Full Test): You must bring a government issued photo ID, and documentation of course completion stating your class number.  If you fail to provide the required information, and your course completion status has not or cannot be verified, you will not be tested.

Candidates seeking psychomotor retesting (Retests): You must bring a government issued photo ID, and the PA Department of Health Psychomotor Exam Results Form from your previous exam attempt(s). If this will be your 4th attempt, you must also have documentation of remediation from your educational institute. If you fail to provide the required information you will not be tested.

Completing this form does not ensure a reservation for testing on any date.  Due to space limitations, all requests will be handled on a case-by-case basis.  We will make every effort to schedule you for the requested exam date, however you will be notified either via email or via telephone of your status by someone at the regional EMS office.

All psychomotor test sessions are conducted at:

Montgomery County Public Safety Training Campus

1175 Conshohocken Road

2nd Floor

Conshohocken, PA 19428

(610) 278-2666

Reporting time on the day of testing is 7:30 a.m.  The doors will be closed at 8:00 as the test briefing begins for candidates as well as skill examiners.  Nobody will be allowed to enter the exam after 8:00 a.m.

Persons leaving the testing area during the conduct of the session will be considered having completed their attempt regardless if they've been through all required testing stations.

Retesting is not offered on the same day. Candidates requiring retesting must apply for another session, or locate another exam site to complete the retest process.
